Hi, I’m Mia
Before moving into web design and SEO, I spent a decade working in the beauty industry — so I understand first-hand what it’s like to run a service-based business and rely on a steady stream of clients.
When I started my own beauty business, I did what seemed like the obvious thing: I built a beautiful website and waited for the enquiries to come in.
They didn’t.
That experience ended up changing the direction of my career. Building that first website sparked a genuine interest in web design, and I soon found myself wanting to understand not just how websites were built, but what made them actually work for a business.
I realised that a beautiful website is only part of the picture. If the right people can’t find you when they’re searching on Google, they may never get the chance to see how good your business is.
My interest in SEO grew further when I began working with an e-commerce business alongside their SEO agency. Over two years, I worked on the foundations of SEO and became increasingly fascinated by why some websites get found while others struggle to be seen.
That curiosity led me to undertake extensive SEO training in 2025, and I’ve continued developing my knowledge ever since. It’s one of the things I love about SEO: there’s always more to learn, whether that’s exploring new techniques, solving a problem or finding a better way to help a business get in front of the people looking for what they offer.
Today, I bring SEO and web design together to help businesses build a stronger presence online — getting found by more of the right people and turning that visibility into enquiries and sales.
I also design modern WordPress websites with SEO considered from the very beginning. Because your website shouldn’t just look beautiful and represent your business well. It should have a purpose, too.
And when I’m away from my desk, you’ll usually find me spending time with the people I love, seeking out a good hot chocolate, or enjoying a peaceful, sunny walk with my family and our dogs.
